Classmate (Yaoi Manga)
There's someone Izumi just can't stand. He’s a classmate and on the same tennis team. His name? Asakura. And the reason for Izumi's loathing? A comment during practice. Ecstatic about winning the point with his first serve, Asakura had to ruin Izumi's moment by saying, “what are you so happy about?” Resentful, Izumi started skipping practice. But, when Asakura realized it was his fault Izumi stopped playing, he apologized, worried about Izumi. Who knows what goes on behind that expressionless face, but maybe Asakura's not such a bad guy after all?? And he's been on Izumi's mind more and more?! Witness the refreshing romance as their first love blossoms *heart*

Classmate Yaoi Manga eBook Kiyo Ueda
3 enjoyable stories here, two on school boys love and 3rd one on white collar romance.1st one is a bit melancholic as a self acknowledged gay boy have crushes on his sempai and like he says it is better to fall in love even if it is unrequited as it makes school more fun. Izumi is a cute character and the evolving feelings between him and the stoic Asakura is nicely done.
2nd story on two classmates, one a gifted soccer player and the other an intellect geek is sweet as the geek wishes the best for the jock. Funny too as our soccer player "sucks" in his studies.
3rd story on white collared workers romance is nicely done. Here we have an insecure and flustered seme trying to romance a seemingly unfeeling and strict uke, who is also his supervisor at work. I like the way both guys' feelings are conveyed. This one has sex scenes even if no "frontal nudity."
This is my second taste of this mangaka's works. I like her clean art style and enjoy her stories more. Her plots are uncomplicated but seamless and easy to immersed in. She also conveys the emotions well.

Classmate Yaoi Manga eBook Kiyo Ueda Reviews
The stories are pretty cute. Not too much drama, just innocent and slowly developed (in yaoi standard). There is some sex scene but they are not explicit.
The art is clean cut and nice.
All of the stories feel unfinished. With every stories it feels like it could have a second part but nothing of it. it leaves you with an unsatisfied feeling and the stories are very plain.
I like how you get to see the emotional roller coaster a teenager goes through from like to hate to indifference and on. The other stories were sweet as well. Some people are emotionally challenged so it makes a good story for me to read.
I simply love this author. The story was fantastic and something that should definitely be read. I enjoyed this one so much.
It was okay I guess
I bought this manga to read because I was stressed. The drawings are consistent and clean. The characters are also consistent and developed well enough for a oneshot. The stories left me with a pleasant feeling. This was a great story to read while stressed. I did not have to think too much. All I did was sit back and enjoy a nice, happy story.
I appreciated the relationship between the two main characters in the first story. I liked how it ended a bit unfinished with a new friendship. I thought the conclusion chapter was a bit rushed, but when I thought about the personality of the main character in that chapter, it made a bit more sense.
There are three couples in this book and they all have communication problems. They suffer misunderstandings and in each case there is one guy who is stoic and unaware of his feelings. This lack of understanding causes issues and the other guy, who is more open is the desperate one. Even with the similarities, there is just enough differences to make it interesting, One of the pairings is between salary men and it gives you a jolt as you are expecting another school tale. The stories are charming, with likeable characters. The art is a bit flat and it's a shame as Ueda's "A Liar in Love" has some of the prettiest young men of any BL in my collection. Over all it is a good book.
